Preserve Your Family Photos & Documents!
The Newton Public Library is pleased to introduce the Memory Lab,
a new technology service launched in March 2021. The Memory Lab provides users with access to a computer and all the necessary hardware and equipment to scan and digitize family photographs, scrapbooks, important documents, photographic negatives and slides, and DVDs. The lab is free to use and is available to all library patrons during regular operating hours. Library patrons are encouraged to bring a USB flash drive from home to save their digitized materials. Flash drives are also available for purchase at the library’s information desk. The Memory Lab was made possible through a grant from the Jasper Community Foundation.
