Holiday Haunt Jaunt

Join us for the Holiday Haunt Jaunt, a fun run or walk where you can choose 5 kilometers (about 3.1 miles) or a shorter 1.2-mile route. This event is about helping our Halloween celebration, "Nightmare at Maytag Park," and our festive Holiday Lights at Maytag Park. The best part is you can pick which holiday you want to support! So, if you love Halloween, put on your spooky costumes. If Christmas is more your thing, show off your holiday spirit!

DETAILS

• Date: Saturday, October 7, 2023
• Location: Agnes Patterson Memorial Park
• Time: Check-in starts at 9 AM, and the race begins at 9:30 AM. Find us near the Softball Concession Stand.
• Cost: It's only $15 to participate; each person will even receive a bag of goodies.
• Registration: You can sign up online or paper registration by Thursday, October 5 at 4 p.m.

  • If you miss the Thursday, October 5 deadline, don't worry. You can still register on the day of the event, but in that case, we can only accept cash or checks. 
• Refreshments: Water and snacks are available at the event site to keep you energized and hydrated.

For those taking part in the 5K (remember, that's the 3.1-mile route), some exciting prizes are up for grabs. We've divided participants into age groups: 15 and under, 16-24, 25-49, and 50 and up. The top two finishers in each age group will receive prizes. It's a friendly competition that adds to the fun! This race is an opportunity to get active, support your favorite holiday, and be part of our community event. So, mark your calendars and invite your friends and family to the Holiday Haunt Jaunt.
