DART RideShare

Living in Newton and commuting to Des Moines? Living in Des Moines and commuting to Newton? Consider using RideShare.

RideShare connects commuters who live and work near each other so they can share rides. Vanpoolers save money, use commute times more productively and reduce their carbon footprint. RideShare, a division of the Des Moines Area Regional Transit Authority (DART), has several vans arriving in and departing from Newton.

For more information call 515-288-RIDE (7433), send an email or utilize the RideShare Ridematching service. The DART team will help match you with an existing vanpool or start a new vanpool to fit your commute needs. RideShare provides the van, gas, and maintenance; you enjoy the ride.
