The City and Newton Main Street have partnered to provide several grant programs, including housing grants and façade improvement grants, for buildings in the Newton Main Street District. The Downtown Grant Review Board reviews grant applications and provides City Council with a recommendation to approve, deny, or approve with conditions. The City Council has the final decision on all applications.
