Learn to throw pots on the wheel.  This will be an introductory class that will give you the skills to throw simple forms that will be beautiful and useable. The class will concentrate on cylinders that can be turned into mugs or other objects.  If you can already throw, you are free to make other forms.  Class limited to students 12 and older.

After you have thrown your pots they must dry for several days and then be bisque fired.  Following bisque firing, you return to glaze your pottery. It is then fired a second time that locks the color in place and provides that shine and finished toughness of stoneware. Following this final firing, you will return again to the studio & pick up your pottery. All the steps required for your pottery are included in the cost: instruction, clay, studio work time, trimming, glaze, and two firings.
