Fire Chief Jarrod Wellik attended a two day conference in Grinnell which focused on the management and operations of an Emergency Operations Center. The emergency operations center is used to help manage large incidents like a natural disaster. “I hope we don’t have to use this” says Wellik. “But we need to be prepared.”
