The annual Newton Police/Fire Department Safety Fest was held on June 8th at the Newton DMACC campus in conjunction with Newton Fest. The event was well attended with attendees having the opportunity to meet police officers and firefighters and see the equipment our public safety professionals use every day. The new location was a positive change as it allowed for greater exposure and closer connection with the other Newton Fest activities.
