Officer Julie Britton and Community Service Officer Brisel assisted with the Helmets and Hot Dogs event at the YMCA on July 12. Parents as Teachers and MOJO Cycling hosted this free community event that included a bike rodeo, a safety course, story walk, hot dogs, chips and free children’s bike helmets. The event was a great opportunity to reinforce safety while bicycling and engage with our local youth.
