On Monday, July 1 both our Public Services Librarian and Youth Services Librarian took turns leading children, teens, and folks of all ages in painting Kindness Rocks in Maytag Park. The programs combined had 320 participants! There are multiple websites claiming they began the Kindness Rock Project but all stem back to spreading kindness in either an inspirational message or beautiful painting on a rock that is placed strategically outside for others to find.
