The Police Department recently partnered with the NCSD, Colfax-Mingo School District and the Newton Christian School to provide safety training to kindergarteners at each school. The program is an annual event that teaches participants how to safely cross the street, bicycle safety and stranger danger. Students had tons of fun and learned a lot.
