City offices and buildings will also be closed on Wednesday, January 1. This includes City Hall, Public Works, Community Development, Community Services, Fire, and Police. Offices will be open regular business hours on Thursday, January 2.
The Newton Sanitary Landfill will be closed on Wednesday, January 1 and will resume regular operations on Thursday, January 2.
The Newton Public Library will be closing at 5 p.m. on Tuesday, December 31 and will be closed on Wednesday, January 1. Regular hours will resume on Thursday, January 2.
