City offices and buildings will be closed for the holidays on Thursday, December 24 and Friday, December 25. Below are details about the closures.
This closure includes City Hall, the Public Works, Community Development, Community Services offices at Legacy Plaza, the Newton Fire Department business office, and the Newton Police Department business office. Offices will be open regular business hours on Monday, January 4.
The Newton Sanitary Landfill will be closed on January 1, 2021.
The Newton Public Library will be closed on Thursday, December 31 in observance of New Year's Eve and Friday, January 1 for New Year's Day.
