Christmas tree collection in the City of Newton occurs the first full week of January. For City of Newton residents, the collection begins on January 4, 2020, and goes through January 8, 2020. Place your real tree on the curb with your regular garbage pick-up. Do not place your tree in a bag. Please have all items cleared off of trees before placing them on the curb – this includes tinsel, garland, lights, etc. The City and Dodd's will not collect artificial trees during this time.
