The Newton Fire Department will start annual hydrant testing starting Thursday, April 15 in the eastern and western parts of the community. The area's being tested this spring include:
- East of E 8th Street
- West of 1st St
While the department will make every effort to work the testing to minimize the amount of debris stirred up in the water, discolored water is a possibility during testing.
