The City of Newton has created a landing page with information regarding a proposed Mobile Food Truck Ordinance. The public hearing and first consideration of this ordinance will be included on the November 15, 2021, Newton City Council agenda. The landing page contains a short video that explains the mobile food ordinance, a portal to submit your questions directly to city staff, and PDF’s of the ordinance, a food truck safety fact sheet and the Iowa Department of Inspections and Appeals Mobile Food Unit Operation Guide.
