Community Input Meeting

The City is in the process of setting a vision for the next 10 to 15 years and establish key goals to work toward – and we need residents to get involved! Join us at any of these Community Input Meetings:

  • Wednesday, December 8 from 5:30 - 7 p.m. at Berg Middle School (1900 N 5th Ave E).
  • Tuesday, December 14 from 12 - 1 p.m. at the Krumm Center at the Newton Arboretum and Botanical Gardens (3000 N 4th Ave E).
  • Tuesday, December 14 from 5 - 6 p.m. at the at the Krumm Center at the Newton Arboretum and Botanical Gardens (3000 N 4th Ave E).

The meeting will have a short presentation followed by an open house where you can ask questions, learn more and share your thoughts! A comprehensive plan is important for every aspect of our community. The plan presents a unified and compelling vision for Newton’s future, gives actionable steps to fulfill the vision, and guides decision-making so that decisions made today do not jeopardize the future of our community.
