Some City staff spent time with the high-school students during Red Pride Service Day on May 7th. Some of the projects included clean-up and planting flowers in the Downtown area, work in Maytag Park, litter clean-up at the Landfill, and painting a welcome mural on a barn on the east end of town. A big thanks to the core Red Pride Service Day Committee for all of the time spent preparing for the day: Allison Grier, Bruce Showalter, Travis Padget, Keri Van Zante, Nathan Unsworth, Omar Gonzalez, Cheryl Salyers, Liz Dodd, Phil Peden and Erin Chambers.
