The Iowa Department of Transportation is developing a Statewide Park and Ride Study. As part of the process, the Iowa DOT is seeking input from all Iowans about commuting patterns through an online survey. The link to the online survey is: www.surveymonkey.com/s/ParkAndRide2014

To compliment the effort by the Iowa DOT, Newton is undergoing a local Park and Ride Study, funded through a grant from the regional transportation agency, which will provide much more specific detail than the state level plan about local commuting patterns and possible locations for a Park and Ride lot. More information to come on the local effort.
