October is Breast Cancer Awareness Month, which is an annual campaign to increase awareness of the disease.
As a show of support the Newton Fire Department members will be wearing pink shirts during the month of October.Members of the Fire Department will also being making a personal donation to the Pink Ribbon Support Group ofJasper County. The Pink Ribbon Support Group is a local organization that offers sources of support for breast cancerPatients, survivors and families.
