Katrina Davis, City Clerk of Newton, has earned the designation of Iowa Certified Municipal Clerk, which is awarded by the Iowa Municipal Finance Officers Association.
IMFOA grants the Certification for Municipal Professionals designation only to those municipal officers who complete demanding education requirements; and who have a record of significant contributions to their local government, their community and state.
The Iowa Municipal Finance Officers Association in conjunction with the Iowa State University Office of State and Local Government Programs and in partnership with the Iowa League of Cities sponsors the Iowa Municipal Officials Certification Program. The mission is to insure educational commitment to establish and maintain competent administration for city government in Iowa.
