In an effort to make the City’s AED’s more accessible the fire department has installed cabinets in 7 locations to house the units. The locations are the Public Library, Public Works, Water Works Treatment Plant, Wastewater Treatment Plant, Westwood Golf Course, Sanitary Landfill and Maytag Pool. The cabinets were purchased by the Newton Safety Committee and installed by the Newton Fire Department. Look for the AED label to find an AED near you.
