Diamond Surface, Inc. of Rogers, Minnesota intends to begin work the week of June 26th on the City of Newton’s 2017 Pavement Rehabilitation Project.
Streets included in this project are E. 17th St. S. from 1st Ave E. to S. 8th Ave E., and S. 11th Ave. W. from W. 4th St. S. to W. 9th St. S. Both streets will have diamond grinding work completed on the surface, which removes offset pavement joints and provides a smoother driving surface. Pavement joints and cracks will then be sealed after the diamond grinding work is finished.
Through traffic will be maintained on both streets, with the moving operation causing occasional driveway restrictions.
