In the high temperatures it's important for everyone to stay cool during the daytime heat.
Accura HealthCare of Newton East (formerly Heritage Manor) is open as a cooling center during the heat of the day. The cooling center is available to the general public during the building’s normal business hours. Accura HealthCare is located at 1743 S 8th Ave E and if you have questions, please call 641-792-5680.
The Newton Public Library is also open as a cooling center during normal hours. The library is located at 100 N 3rd Ave W and if you have questions, please call 641-792-4108.
