A closing for the sale of property at 1400, 1404, and 1500 East 6th Street South was held on October 11th. Earlier this year, City Council approved a purchase and redevelopment agreement with RC Homes. The land was sold for $25,000, and RC Homes has committed to building three single family homes on the property. Based on the conversation at the closing, it is anticipated that a building permit for at least the first home will be submitted in the next week or so.
