[ARCHIVED] Newton Fire Department Honors Members with Annual Awards at the 9/11 Ceremony

The Newton Fire Department honored some of their own members at the conclusion of the 9/11 Ceremony.

The Childbirth Award was issued to Blaine Lefler, George Montgomery, Lee Clanton, Todd Van Manen for assisting in a childbirth outside of a hospital setting.

Fire Chief Jarrod Wellik was awarded an EFO pin for the completion of the Executive Fire Officer Program at the National Fire Academy.

Longevity Awards were issued to Blaine Lefler, Tyler Harsselaar, Hunter Udelhoven, for 5 years of service.

Captain Steve Ashing and Mike Browning were awarded for 10 years of service and Mike Sander was awarded for 25 years of service.

Honor Guard Longevity Awards were issued to Captain Steve Ashing, Firefighters Mike Browning and Blaine Lefler for 5 years of service.
