The 12th annual Shop With Cops program was held on December 9th. Ten children from the Newton area were teamed up with police officers for a morning of shopping, food, Santa Claus and fun! Each kid was given $100 to spend on themselves and family members. They each also received a gift bag full of goodies from Santa Claus. The program is a partnership between the Newton Police Department, Newton Police Association, HIRTA Public Transit, Newton Masonic Lodge and Wal-Mart.
