Officer Brandon Blom graduated from the Iowa Law Enforcement Academy on December 20. The Iowa Law Enforcement Academy is a 15 week basic training course that covers all aspects of law enforcement in an interactive and hands-on environment. Blom began his career with the police department in May of 2017. Brandon is a Newton native and a graduate of Simpson College’s criminal justice program.
