Public Works Operations / Streets crews have been busy building new barricades and repairing old ones to replace the damaged or stolen ones during the previous construction season. Since the announcement that Newton will be an overnight stop for RAGBRAI, Public Works Operations crews are building an additional 50 sets of barricades. Having hosted RAGBRAI overnight previously, we know there will be a need to have more barricades than what we currently stock, to block off everything that will be asked of us.
