The City recently acquired 523 & 525 W 4th St S, and 319 & 321 E 8th St S, with the intent to demolish the structures on these properties through the Dangerous and Dilapidated Program. On February 19, 2018 City Council approved a contract for $129,744.55 with Con-Struct, Inc. of Marshalltown, Iowa for the Demolition 2018-01 Project. This project includes the asbestos abatement and demolition work at all four of these addresses. The completion date of this project is April 30, 2018.
