The ZBA met on April 4, 2018 to continue discussion on the Conditional Use Permit for Global Fiberglass Solutions Storage Yard located in the southwest corner of 927 N 19th Avenue E (accessed from East 8th Street North). The conditional use permit was granted with conditions:
- A combination of screening and security fencing surrounding the site
- A gate provided at the East 8th Street North entrance to restrict access to the area
- The fence and the gate shall be completed within a 3-month timeframe, with staff having the ability to grant an extension if the applicant has shown a good-faith effort to comply.
In addition, they reviewed a front yard setback variance request for 1314 Glenway Drive for the construction of an attached garage citing the topography of the property, the curvilinear nature of the front property line, and the non-conforming nature of the property as reasons the variance could be granted.
