Join the Newton Police Department in remembering local fallen officers on Thursday, May 17. The event will take place on the Jasper County Courthouse grounds beginning at 5:30 p.m. and will remember local fallen officers Lt. Patrick Richardson, Officer Bobby Barrickman, Officer Daniel McPherren, Officer Donald Hewitt, and Reserve Deputy Howard Holdefer.
