Calacci Construction Inc.(Iowa City) recently began construction of the Ultraviolet light disinfection project at the wastewater treatment plant. Providing disinfection of treated wastewater before being discharged to Cardinal Creek was mandated by the Iowa DNR. Construction is to be completed by September 1, 2018.
