The City of Newton’s HMA Resurfacing Project 2018-01 is set to begin soon. This project includes the milling and asphalt resurfacing of the City streets on the west, north, and east sides of the Courthouse Square.
Manatts, Inc., the City’s contractor, is tentatively scheduled to begin work the week of June 17th, and anticipates completion of the work in about one week. All milling and resurfacing work will be completed at night between the hours of 8:00 pm and 6:00 am, with the streets open to traffic and parking during the day.
