The Library opened its doors on Monday, June 4th to the public after being closed for 2 months for massive renovations. Patrons have been very understanding about computer equipment, microfilm readers, and Internet not being 100% ready to open. Patrons were so pleased with the new appearance of the Library and how open it felt that they were happy to take a peek inside and return their stockpiled books. We are calling this our “soft opening” as our new custom desks and ceilings will begin to be installed come July 9th. After all renovations are complete a ribbon cutting will be held. We have included a before and after photo of the entrance, however I highly encourage visiting the Library to truly see all the changes.
