Construction for the Iowa Speedway Drive restoration project is scheduled to start on September 6, 2018.
During construction, Iowa Speedway Drive will be closed to traffic in two phases; Phase 1 between I-80 Exit 168 and S 13th Avenue E and Phase 2 between the south side of Wal-Mart and S 13th Avenue E. Detour signs will route to traffic Rusty Wallace Drive, E 12th Street S, S 13th Avenue E and 1st Avenue E.
The project is scheduled for 30 working days. Depending upon rain and wet weather, the project duration may be more than 6 weeks.
