The Fire Department has been awarded the Assistance to Firefighters Grant for $114,771 for 2017. This grant will be used to upgrade the Fire Department’s three cardiac monitors. The program funds projects for fire and EMS departments to purchase needed equipment. The replacement monitors cost about $30,000 each and will include preventative maintenance and annual testing.
