The City has received an update from the Department of Management regarding the backfill payments from the State in FY19. The City was very conservative with budget numbers as the availability of funds from the State was in question. Newton should receive an additional $18,650 more than budgeted across all funds. In addition, the Speedway/Prairie Fire TIF district will receive $12,566 more than budgeted.
