The Fire Department completed the required testing for applicants for full-time positions in September. The department received 23 applications and ended up certifying a list of nine applicants for hiring. Offers were extended to three applicants the first week of October with a projected start date of October 31. The candidates will complete medical screening in the upcoming month and names will be released at a later date.
