Parks Operations staff has been busy constructing and installing the new Maytag Park Holiday Light Display. The display officially kicked off for viewing on December 1 and was very well received by the community.
The lights will be on every night through Jan. 1 from 6-10 p.m. The event is free and open to all. So pack up the car and visit the beautiful lights at historic Maytag Park & Maytag Bowl in Newton, Iowa.
We want to say thank you to Friends of Newton Parks who has taken the lead in raising private donations to help fund the new display. Clemon Maki Insurance was the main sponsor for this year's event.
