On Thursday, November 8th Community Services Manager Brian Laube and Code Enforcement Inspector Ryan Dannen gave a presentation at the East Central Iowa Coalition of Municipalities (ECIC) meeting in Newton. The presentation, which was titled Nuisance Abatement Challenges and Successes: Lessons Learned in Newton contained information on Newton’s nuisance abatement efforts over the last year. This event allowed for City staff to share information on both challenges and successes in our nuisance abatement efforts, and receive feedback from other communities in attendance.
