Thanks to a private donation to the Library, new furniture was purchased for our Public Internet Workstations! The new furniture gives a bit of privacy (and sound absorption) for users while maintaining the new, sleek, industrial, look of the Library. While the furniture is in place, there is still a bit of work to be done on the wiring which will occur in the next few weeks which may mean the Internet is down for the day. However, feedback on the new furniture has been very positive! We hope to add new software in August that allows patrons to log-on to computers with their library card, or a guest pass, and print to one large printer which will allow credit card payments.
