In December, the City Council created the Community Development Department which includes planning & zoning, building, economic development, and marketing. Shortly after the holidays, the entire department held a kick-off meeting.
It is of note that nine of the eighteen adopted Council Goals for 2018-2020 will be led by the Community Development Department.
