The Newton Public Library offers a large meeting room and small conference room to the public that may be used for conferences or meetings by organizations engaged in non-profit educational, charitable, intellectual or cultural activities. The meeting room may not be reserved for private business events or meetings. Reservations are accepted for the library's meeting room on a first come, first served basis. Groups are limited to one regularly scheduled meeting per month. Meetings at the Newton Public Library must be free and open to the public. Due to staffing constraints, staff are not able to set up or troubleshoot technology. Meeting organizers should bring their own laptops, if they need one. If you have questions or concerns about technology, please contact the library prior to your meeting date for assistance.
Requests for reservations after December 31, 2022 will not be considered at this time.
Meetings may only take place during regular library hours, and must be completed 30 minutes prior to library closing. Our open hours are as follows: Monday - Thursday: 9:00 am to 7:00 pm, Friday: 9:00 am to 5:00 pm, Saturday: 9:00 am to 1:00 pm, Sunday: Closed.
