Three day shop-hop, where you can find antique, vintage, rustic, primitive, retro, and rusty goodness while traveling throughout Central Iowa on back roads and in out-of-the-way places! We've got those fabulous little shops you find amazing treasures in, as well as pop-ups, barns, farm buildings and so much more!

Help us raise funds for the Future Environmental Education Nature Center in this 4 person best shot tournament. There will be contests with prizes, raffles games and more!

Join Instructor Margaret Caldwell to learn the basics of forming a symmetrical cylinder/bowl form on the potter’s wheel. If you are already a confident “thrower,” skip the basic instruction and learn a new skill or two or three: throw a closed form or a form with a neck or try your hand throwing a stoneware bowl with two or three types of colored clay for a swirled effect. You may want to add sgraffito decoration to your damp thrown forms!

Join Instructor Margaret Caldwell to explore projects using handbuilding forming and decorating techniques. You may already have a project in mind which you can pursue on your own after a bit of introductory instruction or you can make 4 small projects that will result in brooches & beads, a small flat tray made of colored stoneware clays, a pinch pot that becomes a (mini-me?) finger puppet sculpture, and a small slab box. We will try to accommodate your interests!
