Newton Main Street hosts Newton’s Farmers’ Market, which features a variety of vendors and runs from 4:00 to 6:00 pm every Tuesday, June through September, in downtown Newton. Cost is FREE. Items are available for purchase. The Market is authorized to participate in the WIC Farmers Market Nutrition Program (FMNP) and Senior Farmers Market Nutrition Program (SFMNP).

Pick up a free take & make craft kit and paint your own ladybug rocks! Crafters will need to supply their own paint brush, all other materials are included. Registration is encouraged to reserve your kit. Registration opens June 5. Kits can be picked up

Now is the perfect time to start scanning those old family photos! Drop-in to learn about our Memory Lab Digitization Equipment and have our Public Services Librarian scan your photos. Attendees may bring up to 15 photos per visit and a flash drive to store their scans on.

In-person storytime for children ages 18 to 36 months with a caregiver. Storytime will last for 20 minutes with a simple craft following. Siblings are welcome to attend. Questions? Please contact Phyllis Peter at 641-792-4108.

The pool features zero-entry access, a chair lift, water fountains, two water slides, a diving well, and six 25 meter swimming lanes.
