Return the books when you're done with them - keep the craft! The June theme is "Distant Lands" and includes books about travel, adventure, and faraway places. Storytime for newborns to 18 months with their caregiver. The storytime will run about 15 minutes and include an open playtime at the end.

Maytag Pool can be found nestled in the center of historic Maytag Park, which is located at 301 S 11th Ave W. Since the pool was built in 1935, it has served as one of the main summertime family attractions in Newton.

The pool features zero-entry access, a chair lift, water fountains, two water slides, a diving well, and six 25 meter swimming lanes.
